Insider Notes

In my personal experience, I learn a lot in my everyday interactions with the world around me. My hope is to take risks now and then; to stretch beyond my “usual” and wake up dormant areas. Recording this CD definitely woke up parts of me that I was unaware of before.

When in the studio we were hearing a keyboard in the mix of “Wake Up”. Since a lot of the tracks on this CD are DIY, I gave it a try. After a few playful takes and some skillful sound knitting by Gary, it turned out wonderfully well.

A friend just recently mentioned that we can stay in our comfort zone, or branch out… where the magic happens.  I think that speaks to the desire of continuing to reach for greater awareness while navigating daily life. When we “go for it!” magical things can happen!
