From the CD The Journey
Have a little faith. Have a little confidence now. I must believe I’m here to make a difference. Somehow I know I have something the whole world needs. Let it show and I’ll set myself free. Every man, child and woman are in the plan. Live each day that I’m given the best I can. Looking back I see it all now bright and clear. That path brought me all the way here. And, no, it wasn’t coincidence. It was the plan right from the start. And that rocky road was easy, ‘cause I followed, always followed my heart. Every man, child and woman are in the plan. Live each day to the fullest and one day I’ll understand. Well, I’m here to serve you and me and everyone. I don’t see myself in the things I do, see the whole picture and how I fit in the scheme. Oh, my dreams will take me there. And when the puzzle’s complete, all in life will be clear. Every man, child and woman are in the plan. Live each day that I’m given the best I can. Every man, child and woman are in the plan. Live each day to the fullest and one day I’ll understand… …if I have a little faith.

Songs that come through are often balms of comfort and encouragement for me. “Have a Little Faith” might be a pep talk and a reminder that every little thing in life has a place, a purpose and meaning. Even when I might not see the big picture, I coax myself to keep moving towards my hopes and dreams, and to whatever opens my heart. If it is something that can help the greater good in some way, then I know I’m on the right track.
