What Will We Create?

The year 2020 is washing over the planet as a wave of change, upsetting the equilibrium of what “was” and leaving us wondering “what will be.”
I want to acknowledge the gravity of this moment including the pain and grief being felt around the world. We are all touched by the COVID-19 pandemic directly and indirectly.
Even still, the human spirit inspires me through acts of kindness and bravery, thoughtfulness and compassion. Who we truly are is shining through in spite of the challenges and the loss.
As the wake of this pandemic sweeps the globe, it leaves openings waiting to be filled, unless we want the universe to fill them for us.
My questions for you are:
- “What do you dream of?”
- “How does your love guide you?”
- “What is one step you can take towards manifesting your ideal life?”
When my partner and I were house hunting, we created a wish list of desired features and a vision board. Our vision board was posterboard with drawings representing items on our list. It is said that we manifest whatever we hold in our mind’s eye, whether we are conscious of those images or not. By making a vision board, we consciously chose what we wanted to manifest.
Years after finding our ideal home, we revisited the list and realized that we were gifted 90% of our desired features. Amazing!
During this state of flux, I have to remember to stay with my heart. That’s where my truth bubbles up. Even if I am uncertain about how things might look tomorrow, I can hold the qualities that I want in my life – truth, freedom, love, respect, hope.
When I wrote, “I Dream of Days” years ago, it was these qualities that guided me to my next step. Yesterday I finished creating a video for this song, which you can see below.
To each and every fellow Being on this planet, “Thank you for your Light in this world. You are significant and loved beyond measure.”
We will get to the other side of this global experience together and will be stronger for it. And when we are each living an authentic life, we are incredibly resilient.
As Rumi says, “The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”
Tend your heart and your dream like precious seeds, and the qualities you hold dear will bloom. We are all gardeners on this planet.
Till next time, take good care.
“The universe is not outside of you. Look inside yourself; everything that you want, you already are.”
Music has been my love forever. As a kid, Dad played haromnica and Mom, piano on rare occasions if I begged them. That made me sooo… happy! Music still soothes my heart, especially in times like these.
