Forgiveness is an Act of Love
The title of the song, “Forgiveness” is self explanatory and it shows up at an opportune time in the Delicious Morsel series, written during the recording and production of the Set Me Free CD (2016-17). Life happens, and forgiveness seems to help smooth out the edges. A timeless topic, indeed.
Delicious Morsel #13

Well, the CD’s arrived and they are more beautiful than I even imagined! The songs sound amazing and sparkle with effervescence, that’s the only way I know how to put it. But…. ah yes…. but… there is an interesting thing happening with the audio. So… I did some investigating in an attempt to correct the situation.
When I discovered this, and was pondering whether or not I should pursue the issue in earnest, I coincidentally saw a quote that read, “When you do something for God, for the highest principle, you do each step until it sings.” That was a loud and clear waking dream to me. So I continue to hold a vision of the highest potential and will do this thing until it sings. Thus, I will have the actual audio disc tweaked and then reproduced. This will delay me in getting your CD’s to you, but I think it is well worth waiting a little longer to have a polished product.
Slightly shifting the attention here, I’ve talked about most of the songs from the CD already, yet there are a few quietly hanging out. One is titled, “Forgiveness”. It came about after a painful experience of personal growth that I had a few years ago. If life is all about facing myself, then I want to roll with whatever comes. As I walked through this event of the heart, a melody came. It is a sincere account of some good things I learned… one being that forgiveness is a necessary ingredient for me to live more gracefully.. and more peacefully. The tune says, “Forgiveness… a little forgiveness is all we need. Forgiveness… I forgive you and I forgive me.”
Thanks for understanding as I delay your gratification a little longer. I didn’t come this far to drop the ball on the last step… so thanks for bearing with me as we carry the torch of excellence through to the end. Our kitty is okay with it. She is a wonderful teacher… manages to forgive quickly and easily.
With much appreciation.
